Some sad news from the Canadian War Museum on the passing of their chief historian Tim Cook. I imagine most of us have some of Cook’s literature on our shelves. He did incredible work making Canada’s military history accessible and known

Sad to hear that historian Tim Cook has left us at an early age. he was one of my favourite Canadian WWII historian.

Just heard it over the radio, Author, Historian and Curator of the The Canadian War Museum has died at the age of 54.
