Or the Jill Biden administration. Nobody was complaining when illegal aliens were raping and murdering young girls and women all over the States. They were innocent American women too, depending on the government to keep them safe.
Or the Trudeau/ Carney clan. Carney has a pretty good record of lying to Canadians almost daily. Trudeau goes without saying.

Breaking: Not much info yet but there’s been another shooting involving federal officers in Minneapolis, reportedly in an immigration enforcement operation. At least one person shot and wounded; specific agency not identified.
Tons of rumours flying on this one, I recommend giving this at least til the morning to firm up.

Deportation can be done without resorting to NKVD style raids...
Nobody is arguing that not enforcing immigration rules is good. People are arguing that the manner in which ICE is conducting the deportations is bad.

I have access to more US television than Canadian. I watch more US politics than Canadian. Get away from the MSM, most of which use exactly the same identical words and phrasing when reporting. They are in a leftist, self destructive TDS bubble. I've seen lots of local stations talk to people outside the anti ICE, ANTIFA, BLM and paid professional rioters and instigators. Asked if they agree with trump, would vote for him again and the current riots, most state yes, yes and jail them for life. Percentages? IDK, but from observing, it's still a substantial number. Most out of the way, uninvolved citizens hate the rioters and what they are doing to their lives.
I'm not in support for any one side, just trying to add some context to the other side of the coin. Which up til now, has been pretty one sided.

Mass deportation cannot be done by following all the time-consuming expensive processes designed, in part, to make it time-consuming and expensive.
I've written before about the imbalance between what it takes to allow mass illegal immigration (essentially: do nothing to prevent it), and what it takes to undo it. Something had to give. Ideological foes have chosen to fight every battle, to nullify federal law in the states and cities they mostly control, and to go to the mattresses to protect the most unsympathetic (violent, criminal) people illegally in the country. No compromises offered; result: challenge accepted. The status quo of "we can let in 2 million people a year when we have the presidency, and you can only deport a few tens of thousands if you stick to the system during your turn", is untenable.
