2026 US-Denmark Tensions/End of NATO

What about man walking with dinosaurs…..anyone?
Why not? The following is a direct quote of a conversation between the scientist that discovered soft tissue in Dinosaur fossils and her supervisor.

There is considerable research on this now so this isn't limited to being a "creationist" thing. Evolutionary scientists have lots of theories but all are defeated by the laws of thermodynamics and the sheer amount of time that they claim exists between dinosaurs and your footprints. They are hoping to discover some hidden elixir but so far it remains one of those miracles

This caused immense consternation. Schweitzer’s supervisor Jack Horner wrote:

‘When Mary was first working on this material, she called me up to say she had found osteocytes. I assumed she meant the spaces where the osteocytes would have been, which is what I suggested.

“No, Jack, actually we have the cells and they have filopodia

“Mary, the freaking creationists are just going to love you.”

“Jack, it’s your dinosaur.

”Make of it as you wish but stop mocking what you know nothing about.

One thing that does bother me, though, is that young earth creationists take my research and use it for their own message, and I think they are misleading people about it. Pastors and evangelists, who are in a position of leadership, are doubly responsible for checking facts and getting things right, but they have misquoted me and misrepresented the data.

So, that leaves us with two alternatives for interpretation: either the dinosaurs aren’t as old as we think they are, or maybe we don’t know exactly how these things get preserved.

If you believe 24/7 creation is really the only interpretation possible and ignore tons of evidence that the earth is billions of years old and that life was a simple construct that got way more complex over time, that’s fine—we may be wrong about the science (I don’t think we are, but as a scientist I have to leave that minute possibility open). I think that parents need to tell their kids that there are a lot of REASONS scientists say what they do, and virtually NONE of those reasons are to disprove God’s existence. That doesn’t enter in.

Anita Anand, Canada's Foreign Minister has announced that a RCN Patrol Vessel will be arriving in Nuuk, Greenland for next weeks opening of a Canadian Consulate in the city.

Dean Blundell is a very biased Liberal hack. He is so full of BS.

What part are you disputing?

The posters are real too.

I would have expected Trump to be the most popular person in Greenland /s

of course. She has taken her evidence and drawn her own conclusions but has been unable to substantiate a method of preservation. Creationists have taken the same evidence and presented facts, including the known decay time of proteins and soft tissues, and said there is no other apparent explanation other than a shortened time span. Now we take our biases, beliefs, and upbringing and apply whichever explanation best suits our personal persuasions. Take your pick both are equally right or wrong as far as scientific proof is concerned.

‘Enemy of Europe’? How Trump’s push for Greenland spooked far-right allies

Leaders and voters who formerly applauded US president’s aims have been growing increasingly uneasy

Donald Trump’s attempted Greenland grab has driven a wedge between the US president and some of his ideological allies in Europe, as previously unstinting enthusiasm and admiration collides with one of the far right’s key tenets: national sovereignty.

Trump’s subsequent disparaging remark that Nato allies’ troops “stayed a little off the frontlines” while fighting with US forces in Afghanistan has only deepened the divide, piquing far-right patriotic sentiments and prompting an avalanche of criticism.

The US president last week stepped away from his drive to seize Greenland, pledging he would not take it by force or impose tariffs on nations opposing him. Faced with a fierce backlash, he also appeared to walk back his swipe at non-US Nato troops.

But for radical-right populists – who lead or support governments in a third of the EU’s member states, are vying for power in others, and who saw in Trump a powerful ally for their nation-first, anti-immigration, EU-critical cause – he is increasingly a liability.

Not sending their best.

Whoever this is, they brought along two cameramen.

Identified, a German "satirist". What a twist.

Talk about pulling a Gilbert Gottfried with a joke like that.
