I caught the last few minutes and the shootout on a TV at work. Man was that shootout ever a nail biter.

Netherlands and Morocco are going into shootout as well. We play the winner. Either should wipe the floor with us but apparently Netherlands is viewed as the stronger team? So hope Morocco takes it I guess.

I really did not enjoy watching the Moroccan floppers - oh, the agony, I'll roll around on the ground screaming. When I was young, if somebody took a pathetic dive, we followed the wise words of our parents - 'Do you want me to give you something to cry about?'

Especially given the Dutch midfielder who got his scalp stitched up on the pitch and kept playing.

In the FIFA standings, Morocco is 6th and the Netherlands is 7th. Canada is 30th. If we can keep our loss to a goal or two, that would be a great showing.
