I caught the last few minutes and the shootout on a TV at work. Man was that shootout ever a nail biter.

Netherlands and Morocco are going into shootout as well. We play the winner. Either should wipe the floor with us but apparently Netherlands is viewed as the stronger team? So hope Morocco takes it I guess.

In the FIFA standings, Morocco is 6th and the Netherlands is 7th. Canada is 30th. If we can keep our loss to a goal or two, that would be a great showing.

Went to Canada/Swiss, Belgium/NewZ, and now heading back to Van for R16 Swiss/hopefully Columbia. The games/environment/people/set up are awesome. For the last Vancouver game I paid up for Champions Hospitality.... eat, eat, eat, drink a little... Lets GO CANADA R16 against Morocco...Cape Verde showed how drive can achieve almost the impossible!!

I caught most of the Argentina - Cabo Verde game, and what a game it was! Seeing Argentina struggle to defeat a small Atlantic island is always a delight.
