I googled costs and issues with getting that potash from Belarus, the closest port is in Lithuania and they refuse to do business with Belarus, so the potash would have to go through a Russian port. Putin I am sure is going to be happy for the tranist fees....

Everything will unfold as intended - after the mid-terms. It's like the joke about listening to a country and western song played backwards ('you get your wife back, your truck back . . . ). After the mid-terms, he will defeat Iran, fuel prices will come down, food prices will come down, trade deals will be flying in the window.

I'm in the camp that after the midterms - and the potential loss of both houses - that he really won't give a crap about anything anymore and that he'll take a razed earth policy going forward. He will try and burn as much as possible to the ground before he has to leave.

He will try to make as much money as possible, for himself, for his family and his supporters. He'll issue blanket, pre-emptive Presidential pardons across the board to his entire cabinet, family, friends, supporters at a level never seen before.

When finally dies, I hope that all the remaining former US President's boycott his funeral as a sign of disgust with how he ran the country.
