    Pay rates

Unfortunately, the pay has been frozen since 2013. There may be retroactive increases, but we do not know if or when that will be. The links provided by mariomike will provide further information and discussion.

CT -- Reserves into ROTP/RMC (merged)

Good morning, When I CT'd, I returned everything, save for one or two articles. I showed up to Kingston for the 2 week Recruit Camp "course" with pretty much just my combat boots. The positive was that I was issued most of the things that I needed, but the negative was that they gave me very...

Fitness for Operational Requirements of CAF Employment ( FORCE )

IIRC, it was for a potential increased level, not a base pass. It was also mentioned that the times would very likely be tightened after the first year and the opportunity to evaluate results, taking into account gender, age, weight, etc. to determine a true minimum standard.

CT -- Reserves into ROTP/RMC (merged)

If you look up CBI 204.211 on Google, it will explain the precise regulations. Suffice it to say that because you are a ResF Corporal, you will be paid as a RegF Corporal once you are transferred to ROTP as an OCdt/NCdt. Your IPC is dependant on how long you have been in rank, calculated by some...

What can be mailed to a recruit/cadets at CFLRS?

    ROTP Pay Questions

CBI 204.211 (link below) details circumstances.  However, in addition to what the CBI states, I've seen many Privates also keep their pay. As a Corporal, you will be paid at the Cpl RegF pay bracket, with pensionable time in rank counting towards IPC.  You are also eligible to receive all...

CT -- Reserves into ROTP/RMC (merged)

The biggest issue there is that your unit does not have a University Liaison Officer, nor the experience with handling textbook claims, etc.  I highly doubt that they would let you, and if they did, it may very well turn into an administrative nightmare.  I would have preferred to be based in...

CT -- Reserves into ROTP/RMC (merged)

When I went through mine (2010) I still had to go to the RMC Recruit Camp, and there were a few other ex-reservists who were on it as well for varying reasons.  I would expect that you won't, given your PLQ, but you can never be sure.  If you have a training conflict for a final exam, you should...

    Want to join the reserves

Hello Jamal, Your best bet is to go to a nearby Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre and speak to someone face-to-face.  There, you can determine which positions you would be eligible for.  The website lethalLemon posted is the recruiting section of our website.  By going to 'Browse Jobs', you can...
