All the tough guys left Winnipeg and moved to ShiloI watched the Panthers thump them hard. The Leafs and the Jets need some toughness for the playoffs.
Here's the problem - tough big skilled players are high priced and many have no trade clauses especially to Winnipeg.
It is hard to fathom what is going on inside the Leafs locker room right now. That Leafs game was brutal. The entire team was listless; they lost most puck battles and even simple set-up passes were being missed. Not the first time they've played that type of game in a playoffs.
I was sad after the Jets loss on Tuesday and then I looked to the east and saw a team the sucked worse (so so so much worse) and I felt much better. That Leafs game was brutal. The entire team was listless; they lost most puck battles and even simple set-up passes were being missed. Not the first time they've played that type of game in a playoffs.
Stars were gooning it up at the end. Typical of that team. And most others.Really solid Jets win (4-0) vs Stars tonight.
Well done.
I think they did that on Game 2, Game 3 I believe broke them losing in OT, as they really have not shown up in Game 4 or 5, and getting absolutely destroyed in Game 5 probably doesn’t bode well for going into Florida tonight. At least go into Sunrise Florida and leave everything on the ice. You might get beat, but at least you will have your self-respect.
Next Dragon is a road win. I'm at 50 50 that they can pull this off.Really solid Jets win (4-0) vs Stars tonight.
Well done.
That's no big deal. They made the final six every year from 1942 to 1967!Toronto glass half full: They've made the final six!
I think the Panthers will come out hard and bang and crash - sending a message to Nylander and Marner that their days are numbered.Toronto glass half full: They've made the final six!
I missed the game due to a Varsity Hockey game last night, but WTF.I cannot believe I am typing this but,
The Leafs won game 6 in Florida, 2-0 to force game 7 in Toronto.
Holy. Shit.
I’ve said it before- the Panthers will probably win Sunday night (probably 2-1, maybe in OT).I missed the game due to a Varsity Hockey game last night, but WTF.
In true Toronto fashion I guess they wanted to wait to disappoint their fans in person.
