If I were to put my application in October 29th, how long would it take before I could expect a reply from the Canadian Forces ? I personally want to be out of here (my town)by March

    Ontario Election

If there was an election I couldnt see any party getting a majority, but i wouldnt be surprised if the Liberals narrowly lost the official opposition spot

    Application processing

If I were to put my application in 2 weeks from now would that mean, if contacted, it would be two weeks later than if I had submitted it two weeks earlier? Or do they start processing applications after they've collected so many from a time range. For example would a application be reviewed...

    Weight

Will your height-weight ratio or "BMI" be a determining factor on your application ? Or do they only address this issue at the actual physical ? obviously one who is very overweight, say 350lb + might create an issue but Im 5'11 and 222 pounds with a BMI of 31, but Im fairly physically fit. Im a...

    "In demand" and "Accepting Applications"

Well, infantry was the preferred occupation, they ask for three on the application, so I would have filled them all out (all army combat arms). But I thought infantry, with the high turnover rate and being the largest occupation in the Forces would have had some availability. And yes, if...

    "In demand" and "Accepting Applications"

I went to forces.ca, and in the recruiting section the trade I wanted (Infantry) wasn't listed as either "In demand" or in "accepting applications". Does that mean any application  in which infantry is listed as preferred occupation is a waste of time ?

    Krispy Kreme or Tim Hortons?

Yeah, Timmies are huge tightwad's, and have been in the news all the time lately getting on customers/employees asses for this and that. Unless it was a manager or supervisor I wouldn't really care, as some of the employees there are as dumb as a brick (and not much better looking). I'd go up to...

    Krispy Kreme or Tim Hortons?

Hmm, tim cards and debit, i guess they trust the employees to be faster. But timmies is cheap and they are incredible tightwads. If there is any problem , ti is matter of money, as they care little about employees, or else they would have invested sufficient resources in to employee retention...

    Krispy Kreme or Tim Hortons?

Yeah, but theres 15 coffees for every sandwich lol The reason I heard out here is that it costs a certain amount of money every time you swipe with debit, and considering the costs of most items sold that it detracted to much from profit. Im not sure how it works in the rest of canada, though

    Krispy Kreme or Tim Hortons?

Its also easy for people to just look at the job and say "whats so hard about that, its so simple". Well, when the drive through is backed out into a public street and theres one girl out front with a line backed out the door, and customers are complaining and youre just starting out there...

    Krispy Kreme or Tim Hortons?

heh, I bring in maybe 10-15$ maxin tip's at tims on most weeks. The job itself is hard on you, not just the 20 minute rule.... The shitty hours, call in's, lack of help, ******* customers, all for the wage as low as they can legally give you.... If you have a life, then keep looking for work...

    Krispy Kreme or Tim Hortons?

Theyre so desperate for people here now that you can get away with anything besides tealing. It wasnt like that a few years ago though, a few years ago they were actually quite picky
