Canada moves to 2% GDP end of FY25/26 - PMMC

Old school accomidations are excellent for training. I enjoyed my time in Nelles block and appreciated it more than the modern set up in Borden. The large communal bathrooms have the advantage of not requiring you to clean them (janitors do it) which is awesome for inspection. The more modern...

Which is also a system they actively choose to support. The beauty of the Swiss system is their people choose the path and they can also change it at will. It could have very loose rules or alternatively it could have more restrictive rules, but all is decided by the public.

Navy Badges on Army / Air Force DEUs

Considering the Navy is the number one service for participation medals, just doing their jobs on ship it is a pot calling the kettle black.

Navy Badges on Army / Air Force DEUs

I am noticing a trend of the Navy refusing to follow orders and proper procedures. Maybe some strategic firings are needed to remind them.

Seniors Benefits Discussion- split from Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

Working from home gives worse results except in a few specific fields (coding and computer related fields generally). Employees do less and do worse quality work. Yes there is some people who are more productive as a individual, but generally those people even if they don't realize it often help...

Seniors Benefits Discussion- split from Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

There was a guy who for a bit was comparing average Canadian home prices to literal castles in Europe… the castles were usually cheaper.

Seniors Benefits Discussion- split from Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

Thats something I realized a few years ago, the amount of houses built isn’t necessarily reflecting a increase in available housing due to the tear down and rebuild going on. I suspect houses built post-WWII into the 70s were mostly new builds without knocking down many old homes. So their...

Also coincidental with the massive increase in housing prices and relatively stagnant wages in comparison to inflation.

Seniors Benefits Discussion- split from Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

I am on a single income household right now. It is a necessity for us due to a severely mentally and physically disabled child. If it wasn’t for the above average income I make in a much below average cost of living area it wouldn’t be possible. My case isn’t the norm for the vast majority of...

Could afford to raise a family on one income as well. Most of the country that would be impossible these days without a extremely high income job.

Seniors Benefits Discussion- split from Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

Kids with high income parents can’t get student loans even if they want to or their parents say they won’t pay. This doesn’t even get into how student loans are a scam, they charge a 8% or more interest rate on it, basically a cheap mortgage payment which takes decades to pay off. Great way to...

The Great Gun Control Debate- 2.0

I doubt anything to that extreme. I still wouldn’t be surprised if they reversed course a bit. Remember they don’t have to change any laws to ban all firearms in country, thanks to the OIC portion of the law. They can ban them all with a minority or a majority.

That is being agnostic not atheistic. Atheists do not believe in a god, gods, higher power, etc. Agnostics are neither confirming or denying the existence of a god, gods, or higher power.

Doubt it. Keep in mind if you like shooting any of the older military cartridges ammo supply will likely be drying up for most of it so expect higher prices if you can find any at all. PPU (Prvi Partizan) basically cornered that market, but recently Serbia banned them exporting ammo.
