Is there a limit to the kind and amount to "kit" a member can have?

Thanks dgald. So it's may not be a "free for all" once your posted.  I was just curious because there seems to be quite a bit of buy/sell/trade going on.

Is there a limit to the kind and amount to "kit" a member can have?

Questions I have wanted to ask for a while now. I'm in the recruiting process; not a member yet.  When someone does BMQ the idea is not to standout...blend in with everyone else. When you get posted, that idea seem to go out the window.  I see from different threads that members resole their...

    Feds not battling military rents

birdgunnersrule, I'm in the recruit process and have the possibility to be posted to Gagetown. How is the housing market?  I have a home, which I will have to sell.  I'm not looking for anything exceptional.  Something 90 or 100 000.  I don't know the market so that may get me a palace or a...

    Fitness Test

"I'm surprised your testers only made you do the minimum because during my testing they said that they want you to do the best that you can do to make your application look better. " Exactly what I am thinking.  My tester told me to stop when I reached the min.  I did a few after that but I was...

    Recruits these days

As technology proliferates in society, society seem to become more sedentary.  A perfect example of this is video game consoles.  I see soooooo many over weight kids now.  I can't understand how someone can sit for hours playing a game!!! I'm sure in years to come these will be the recruits that...

    Recruits these days

I'm not saying I'm going to be a fantastic recruit but, I think I know what I'm getting into.  It's going to be work. WORK. I don't understand how someone would even expect to tip-toe through the CF.  I'm new to the process but I've seen people who seem like their sleepwalking beside me.  Two...

How does a member become a BMQ instructor or a MOC instructor?  I'm sure your years of service has something to do with it.  Do you have to take additional courses, is it an appointment,is it duration for the position or it that your "job".  Just looking for info on how you got to where you are...

    Getting posted to a unit

Not sure if this is going to help.  I'm assuming your going infantry(but never assume)?  I'll just tell you what happened to me.  I'm at the second last step to getting an offer. I had the apt, med, interview; passed all.  My civilian qualifications are now being judged to see if I am...

    Everyone recruting should read this!

This was posted by Spazkatt in another thread.  I think it was an excellent post so I'm reposting it. It answers a lot of questions I had. By starting a thread with it I'm hoping everyone recruiting gets a chance to read this PFD document...

    Fitness Test

There must be a lot trying to get in.  The guy who did my test does 5 to 6 test a day, everyday. Your min. heart rate is a derivative of your age. Everyone's will be different.(Might have something to do with you height and weight ....not sure though) My tester had his fist under my...

They answer a lot of questions but also bring up a lot of new ones

really can't help you with your question but I can correct a statement you made......Line Tech is not an electrician. A line tech is a lineman,i.e. high voltage powerlines i.e. BC Hydro,Quebec Hydro, Nova Scotia Power. Electrician is Ed-Tech (642)  :salute:
