2022 CPC Leadership Discussion: Et tu Redeux

Are you still serving? Legit question, how did you guys see her as MND? I got out in 2018, so I am way out of touch now.

I honestly didnt notice any big changes while she was in or since she left.

But when I heard her talk she seemed genuine and willing to speak candidly. Her and Big Rick might have been interesting combination.

I was in the procurement world during her tenure. There was a marked difference (in a good way). A lot of the RCAF’s latest big-ticket procurement items are due to her.

I had similar experiences, and noticed that the approach at PSPC changed a bit while she was there as well, to more collaboration to figure out how to get things done (vice here are the rules). Some of the big files seemed to have ministerial support to get through DPS and other hurdles, which was awesome, and that seemed to trickle down to less big files as well.

The scuttlebutt I had heard was that the MND office was supportive of increased NP demands once the justifications were done, so she got shitcanned because she didn't support the cuts to the baseline (along with the hard no to increases).
