I see 15, do I have 20 ?

Imagine that? Income tax cut, no carbon tax, not sending hundreds of millions of dollars to 3rd world countries. Maybe even tightening up the Liberal consultant lottery.

I’m not against income tax reductions. But we are talking about 50 to 60 billion in revenue.LPC will spin this as the CPC will need to make up the shortfall by cutting your government services! Tax cuts bad.
As long as there is a cut in wasteful spending this is ok.
PP promising a 15% income tax cut.
That will be in the details. The LPC and NDP will pounce on having the CPC reveal those details. As long as there is a cut in wasteful spending this is ok.

That shortfall needs to be made up somewhere. Cuts or increases in other revenues.
Danielle smith cut income tax but increased property taxes to make up for it. Smoke and mirrors.
I’d be ok though if they increased consumption taxes to offset but that won’t generally be popular given the current tariff climate.
Total PS personnel costs are around 70 bn if I recall.I'm sure we can find 50 or 60 billion somewhere in this link to cut that won't affect our defence and security.

Good - start with the CRA who refused to collect 15 BILLION in CERB payments.Total PS personnel costs are around 70 bn if I recall.
That sort of efficiency finding would cripple the country.
It can be part of various cuts but you won’t get to that amount with that alone.
We already know that either gvt will shrink the PS.
They have already been cutting at CRA. Quite a bit actually.Good - start with the CRA who refused to collect 15 BILLION in CERB payments.
Good. But they did do a good deed for me at one time. They have already been cutting at CRA. Quite a bit actually.
There are consequences to that. Intelligence, diplomatic and economic. The lessons south of us are a good indicator of what can go wrong. By all means review but a chainsaw isn’t the answer.
Sure. Until you cut capability and need to outsource it. Which is the vicious cycle.
I don’t know enough about that. If that is a cut they intend on doing that is something that will stir up a hornets nest.Ghost payments to First Nations.
That happened at DND as well. Class action lawsuits will happen again across gvt Revamp or not. And especially if they plan on cutting the way they intend to.Revamping the RCMP to avoid this in the future.
Definitely.Canceling the gun confiscation program.

100%. Shitheads in the CAF costed tax payers billions too, I meant to include that. I'm not sure how Poilievre's goofy no woke military plan would turn out - could potentially make things worse (and see more lawsuits). That happened at DND as well. Class action lawsuits will happen again across gvt Revamp or not. And especially if they plan on cutting the way they intend to.
Always worth a detailed look, but south of us, they also learned some "foreign aid" was helping keep a grip on ISIS prisoners, so gotta be careful about chainsaws and broad brushes. Beware unintended consequences ....Some people are pretty dexterous with chainsaws
I'm not sure what intelligence or diplomatic harm not giving Bangladesh $270 million dollars would mean for Canada but it seems like a good example of WTF.
Creemore, Ontario. Many U of G (Moo U), Waterloo, some Brock, U of T, I didn't catch the other ones. I ended up answering alot of questions even though my friend Greg Judy was running the seminar.Just a thought. Bet the seminar was not in ON or PQ.
simply due to the fact we need to reign in 60 billion in overspending as is (let alone starting to pay back our debt).
Is it? Trade with Bangladesh has more than doubled in the last few years or so. 1.3 bn dollars worth in exports. Potash being our main export. Some people are pretty dexterous with chainsaws
