Vast tracks of government prefab housing, paid for by the taxpayer, built and operated by Brookfield in perpetuity. That is what carney is selling.

Team Red has done a very effective job making Trump that baddy, which for the short team he is, but we’re not going to do well against the Confucian long game in this…

I agree. I was given some hope when Carney rejected further trade ties with China because they don’t share our values, but then flubbed by refusing to drop Chiang like a hot potato. Now it looks like the candidate that replaced Chiang is equally up to his eyeballs with United Front organizations.

I’ve been seeing more op-eds recently with the gist being “Hey, China is being friendly. Let’s get into bed with them!”

In other news Carney unveiled his energy strategy in AB today which emphasized O&G is here to stay but we can do more to make it efficient and use it for the entire countries benefit. Also a pledge to bring project review time down to 2 years from the current five, and only one environmental assessment per project required, not multiple. Additional shout out for nuclear technology and energy as part of green initiative, as well as critical mineral development.
