2025 Federal Election - 28 Apr 25

Source documents would be more credible than partisan websites.
I don't have time for any ATIPs but these might assauge your doubts. I hear Sam Cooper is particularly trusted.

Nope. Not digging into Dept of Justice Canada for chapter and verse to satisfy your curiosity. I've stated my position on liberal malfeasance a number of times here. You can go back and read if you're that interested.

And yet nothing of substance to prove anything illegal actually occurred. Like the CPC information machine you post a lot of conjecture to make make people think something nefarious happened but without proof of any wrong doing. Your position is more a bias opinion then harder fact, which is fine, but you'll be chasing your tail in a circle because you can't arrest or charge anyone for an implied crime without any evidence of a crime

You can think whatever you want. Doesn't prove anything but your own opinion.

Who's the other Randy? Answer that and maybe we can have a conversation about liberal criminality.

Again you can them criminals, cite the criminal code violation, because unless you can its not crininal it's your opinion

I was out for dinner with friends last night. I was the only one of the four of us who had serious reservations about the Carney team. I used the analogy of when Van Halen changed the frontman. Sure, Sammy Carney has replaced David Lee Trudeau, but the entire band, producers, and roadies are all the same and the music didn’t change a lick.
My friend never really thought of it that way. I don’t know if I made him think more about the choice. But he understood my point.
Penny on the other hand said “shut the fuck up Don!”
Ahh love during the time of election season. 🫤🤣

So it's my opinion, so what? 90% of the postings on this site are opinion. Including yours.

You didn't answer who the other Randy is. I told you previous, if you want to speak about criminality in the LPC, tell us who the other Randy is. You haven't told us. Just avoided it and stated your own biased opinion.

Here, in case you need to refresh your memory. I have listed the ten of the first eleven hits that came from my search. I haven't read them. I don't know if they are pro or con. I did not post the link from the CPC, because you and one or two others would make a big deal of it and accuse me of cherry picking my sources.

So, tell us. Who is this other Randy that appears to have defrauded the taxpayer.

i dont think its clear that it is a priority for Singh or the NDP. Maybe the leadership review will reveal more but weve discussed this before. Is it the interests of the NDP to facilitate a CPC win? I wonder how many still blame Jack for flying to close to the sun?
Would be a weird political party that doesn’t want to do well in elections…

If they were a mature political party, they should want to work with any party that wants to work with them. There are some governments in the world that are conservative/socialist coalitions.

Having been involved with lessor parties they tend to be a little more concerned with their purpose than success. The ndp should have used the minority to push electoral reform. And even mature parties like the cpc currently seem to have trouble seeing the forest for the trees

Electoral reform is a hard starter. Every party calls for it saying it's imperative.

Until they win under the FPTP system. Nobody wants to destroy the system that got them elected.

Electoral reform isn’t worth the squeeze. Every system has it’s own disadvantages which can be worse than our current one (party based systems for example can consolidate power in the hands of a few areas/small groups).

What matters is being able to hold the government accountable. Something along the lines of Swiss referendums. 4 years is too long to wait to punish a party for not doing what they said.

There is no reason with the technology available today that we can’t have more direct democracy in action. How exactly that would look can take many forms, but the main reason for representative democracy was the limitations of your average citizen to be able to vote on things from wherever they lived. Now that is 100% a option. They even proved it was in Covid when they had online voting for the house.

BC getting the love 'em and leave 'em treatment ... sigh ;)

Canadians continued to head to advance polls Sunday as federal leaders campaigned in B.C. and in the capital.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre continued to campaign in the Vancouver area on Sunday, using the backdrop of a grocery store in the suburb of Surrey to attack the recently released Liberal spending plan with an announcement on inflation.

Seat projections including Mainstreet’s (behind a pay wall on their site)
Not having access to the raw data, from the projections it makes me suspect Mainstreet thinks LPC is at risk in Quebec - BQ drawing their votes may also benefit CPC in some ridings.

If we see the LPC and CPC pivoting to focus on la Belle Province more than usual...

The other twist is the large advance polling turnout...
