I'm so confused. What does "the other Randy" have to do with your claim that people in the LPC needing to be "RICO'd" (generally) or to do with all the articles about the mismanagement of SDTC you specifically brought up in all those links? So it's my opinion, so what? 90% of the postings on this site are opinion. Including yours.
You didn't answer who the other Randy is. I told you previous, if you want to speak about criminality in the LPC, tell us who the other Randy is. You haven't told us. Just avoided it and stated your own biased opinion.
Here, in case you need to refresh your memory. I have listed the ten of the first eleven hits that came from my search. I haven't read them. I don't know if they are pro or con. I did not post the link from the CPC, because you and one or two others would make a big deal of it and accuse me of cherry picking my sources.
So, tell us. Who is this other Randy that appears to have defrauded the taxpayer.

And that's not an option here.Usually folks don't get that fired up to vote for an incumbent.
Big push from the CPC to vote early.Usually folks don't get that fired up to vote for an incumbent.
I tend to agree. Some of the proposal that have been floated over the years remind me of multi-stage, multi-day processes of other countries, or akin to casting my vote only with my left hand by the light of the moon (aka - convoluted).Electoral reform isn’t worth the squeeze. Every system has it’s own disadvantages which can be worse than our current one (party based systems for example can consolidate power in the hands of a few areas/small groups).
What matters is being able to hold the government accountable. Something along the lines of Swiss referendums. 4 years is too long to wait to punish a party for not doing what they said.
There is no reason with the technology available today that we can’t have more direct democracy in action. How exactly that would look can take many forms, but the main reason for representative democracy was the limitations of your average citizen to be able to vote on things from wherever they lived. Now that is 100% a option. They even proved it was in Covid when they had online voting for the house.
Lots of ways to go about it, not necessarily all by electronics.I tend to agree. Some of the proposal that have been floated over the years remind me of multi-stage, multi-day processes of other countries, or akin to casting my vote only with my left hand by the light of the moon (aka - convoluted).
I'm not so sure about the second part. Turning leadership into a parade of referendum contests on matters big and small, where low-information voters sitting on they couch click away based on what some algorithm feeds them doesn't sound much like progress. At least people schlepping out to a polling station have put some thought and effort into it.
Although about 94% of Canadian have internet access, the system can't disenfranchise those who don't.
I agree but tell me who the two most recent PMs are?It definitely is possible though, the Swiss have been doing it for centuries at this point. I happen to have faith in our plebs, there is a reason it is called the house of commons and it isn’t because it is supposed to be ruled by the ‘elite’.
If nothing else I'd like to see simple ranked choice / instant run offI tend to agree. I really want to know; is Mainstreet the only one getting it wrong, or the only one getting it right? What's the nature of their consistent difference from the rest of the pack? I guess we'll find out in a week!Todays 338 is out early likely due to the holiday. A couple of more post debate polls added.

Voting intention getting tighter. Seat projection is still where it was for the last little while.

That’s only one factor to consider, but even if it’s national survey, other things to consider include:Where there sample is from?
Liberal supporters are incentivized when the LPC steals CPC platform points. Poilievre probably wanted to wait for the Liberals to drop theirs first to avoid Liberals stealing their ideas and taking credit for it....the day after the advance polls close. I see no reason why it couldn't have been released the second the Liberals dropped their own, unless they don't have much confidence in it.
I'm assuming this was done on purpose so the LPC didn't steal any more of the CPC's ideas......the day after the advance polls close. I see no reason why it couldn't have been released the second the Liberals dropped their own, unless they don't have much confidence in it.
Are you really that shocked, @KevinB ??CCP targeting CPC candiate in don valley north, This is Han Dong's riding
