I have been wondering a few things these past few months. I am currently 15 years old and as soon as i complete grade 10 and I am 16 I will join the reserves. In the mean time I am trying to train. I have started to walk and jog and more recently started ruck marches. I have a 82 patturn ruck and it is loaded with 50 pounds of canteens and free weights as well as clothes. I have the heavier things on the top close to my back and the lighter things on the bottom. I was taught this is the way to have my ruck packed but is it actually? As well will I be tested on Chin-ups to join the reserves? Are the reserves very strict when it comes to elbows in with push-ups? and How heavy should my ruck be packed and how far should i go? Any information will be much appreciated

Spell check is your friend!
I cant answer any of your questions sorry.

My mistake, I tried the spellcheck and it corrected it that way, either way carelessness, won't happen again.

Demitri - Welcome to the board. Virtually all of your questions have been answered in previous threads by people in similar situations. You can find these threads by learning to use the "Search" function. Give that a whirl for a bit.

I've added some other miscellaneous info below. Good luck.
