I hope his actions follow him for the rest of his life, and that he sees not a moment of rest until he eventually faces justice.

The only tragedy here is you trying to compare someone who was shot once while actively trying to get to members of the US government using violence to someone on their hands and knees, disarmed and then shot in the back repeatedly.
