Absolutely, 1000%. If the American people weren't so angry about all the ways Democrats and old-time Republicans were fucking them over, they wouldn't have been angry enough to elect Trump. Clinton or one of the other Republican primary candidates would have been president in 2016 and none of this other shit that grieves everyone so much would have happened. The dissatisfaction of voters that made Trump electable cannot be laid anywhere but at the feet of the people who preceded him. The establishments had four years of Biden's administration to change that and not only failed, but doubled down on their own self-engorgement, leading to a second round of Trump.

The boil is still being lanced. Those wanting a return to normalcy should be pulling for every squalid scandal that is extinguished.
