Very little info on circumstances yes but two people are reported shot by Customs and Border Protection and in hospitalin Portland. This is maybe an hour and an half ago as far as I can tell.
If this article is accurate it sounds like the CBP agent(s) who shot them may have them left the scene? One of the two gunshot victims apparently called it in himself.
Lots to wait and learn on this, and I expect lots of sketchy info. Also expect Portland to go full Portland.

I personally put no stock in DHS narratives anymore unless independently corroborated. Their own claims are no longer inherently reliable.

Can we narrow that to ICE? The USCG is sadly part of DHS, and they deserve no scorn thus far.
I’m talking about releases coming from DHS proper. Anything from them at this point, no. If USCG is making their own statement on something from their own people, I’m still willing to put stock in that.
Might that simply be the medical facility the victims were brought to after they called for help?

That is where they were shot, but were discovered 3 miles away stopped in their vehicle.

Thanks. Looks like a traffic stop attempt that took place at least partly in the facility parking lot. Maybe they were just leaving, maybe they pulled into the lot to stop; that’s not unusual when people want to get off a road.
I’ve seen a photo of a car with a smashed up front end, bumped missing. Might be there was an attempt to box them in and they fled.
I’m waiting for more info on this one. CBP aren’t the boneheads ICE hires for removal ops. They tend to have their poop in more of a group.
But the onus is completely on them to articulate what happened and why. That’s how it works when you pull the trigger as a cop.

Yup, I'd like to hear also. However, after watching the two sides in Minnesota, I'm inclined to forget the whole thing and wait a year or two for the answer. I've tried to stay away from politics and their threads, since Christmas. It has been good for my constitution.

I hesitate getting involved, but here is some footage from a different angle. I've watched it a few times. It certainly looks like she made contact with the officer. Not sure though.
