Well i never read the rebel, definitely will not now

Well, I guess the name is at least truth in advertisingWell i never read the rebel, definitely will not now
I agree, but there is a difference between rebellion and treason.I have no doubt there is a home grown Alberta separatist movement, I also don't doubt that both State and non-State entity exploit it to cause issues within the Western countries.
If we call Albertan separatist traitors and want to treat them as such, then we better do the same to the Quebec ones as well. We tolerated the Quebec version for generations and gave them sweet deals with little in return.

Talking about the PQ and BQ.
Talking about the PQ and BQ.
The conversation was treat Quebec separatists the same as Alberta separatists.Don't shorten the field because your fitness sucks. Its about separatists.
Call me when Albertan separatists kill people and blow up bombs.

Considering the present Quebec separatists are represented by the PQ and BQ, I will say there is a difference between working to break up Canada for their region and working to break up Canada so they can run off and join another.
As for killing people and the like, I tend to not comment on things that happened before I was even born as politically relevant to the current situation. Call it recency bias.
My biases? I hate both. I just hate one more.No you're trying to frame in the conversation to suit your biases.
You must be Red Sox fan.

Talk to me when you grow up in Quebec in the 90s and watch as the the separatists systematically dismantle every institution you have one brick at a time the way one boils a lobster.I simply don't believe you.

I literally said I hate them both, for that precise reason.Your issue isn’t breaking up Canada, it’s what they do afterward?
That's drawing a moral distinction after the fact, not in the act itself.
Clear?
If my wife wanted to divorce me because she was unhappy I wouldn't like it, but I could understand it.Not super, but I'm trying to understand.
I don't see your distinction carriny weight. If you “hate them both” for breaking up Canada, you’ve already identified the core issue (secession). Ranking one as worse based on a hypothetical “what they’d do after” is just adding a subjective layer on top.
If both are pursuing the same end (leaving Canada), why does a speculative next step matter more than the act itself? It ends up sounding less like a clear moral line and more like a preference.
To be more glib, getting divorced and remarried is worse than getting divorced and being single.
If my wife wanted to divorce me because she was unhappy I wouldn't like it, but I could understand it.
If my wife wanted to divorce me to jump into bed with or was actively jumping into bed with some jerk with a face tattoo, I would be significantly more upset.
That's the difference.
Now I hate both Quebec and Alberta separatists.
But Quebec separatists what to leave Canada and make their own little shit hole poor country where everyone can speak French and be poor together
Alberta wants to separate so they can make overtures to Washington saying how nice it would if they could just be annexed by them. The Texas treatment.
