You don't rewrite the CFAT unless your previous score doesn't meet the cutoff for your new occupation. The CFAT result is good for the length of the CFAT protocol which has been in place since 1997.

Inspir said:From what the CFRC Detachment Commander told me was that in order to be even considered for CF firefighter you must have previous firefighting experience and training approved by the NFPA and IFSAC. Both of which I have, however my experience and training is over five years old. So unfortunately I am not competitive enough.
CF Firefighter is also a nationally competitive trade. Only two slots are open this year nation wide.
