This may be off topic but on the CF application it says for physical activities: list type, period and duration...what does this mean? I just need this clarified.

example:

type: Lift weights
period: 3 times a week
duration: 1 hour

Pretty easy from there to put in your own personal phys. activities.

Recruiting Officer shudders.

Kincanucks, i don't think that is that bad, when i took my friend to see a recruiter (i was his drive down) i wanted to burst out laughing (and in the end i did) for the things he wrote i could hear the recruiter getting frustrated... possibly angry, Ill give you a couple of examples of what he wrote on his application.

Position applied for : reg force army
trades applied for : all airforce....
Have you ever served in the military previously : No
If yes, write your SN number: my friend fills in his social insurance number
then the part that says to have your parents fill in ONLY if your not 19 (maybe 18??) hes 21 and he fills the whole thing in.
here was the best part... after having the recruiter grab a new application form to fix all the mistakes, he pipes up and says "Oh , i don't want the airforce i made a mistake there, i want combat engineer "

I kept glancing the recruiter just to see how he was taking my friends stupidity, and the recruiter just had this "Oh dear god, don't let this man be recruited" face on him. I ended up leaving the room to laugh, but i felt really bad for the recruiter.

LOL.  Reminds me of a form we used to use that had a "date entered Canada" on it for anyone born outside Canada and people who were born in Canada would put their birthdates there.
