Armoured Corps - tanks or reconnaissance?

Hello,

I'm looking at enrolling in the Forces as an armoured officer.

What determines if you end up working with reconnaissance or tanks? Based on what I've read, I'm much more interested in the first.

Its not like you get to choose......

Upon completion of DP3 ARTL Mod 2 you will be placed in a unit and told what role you will be tasked with, either Recce or tank.

It won't as he has no control of what type of platform he will be employed on.

Upon arrival, you will be assigned to either a recce troop as its leader, or to a tank troop, as its leader. 

In any case you don`t get to choose so relax!
