1. Do you think that the current $340 benefit is enough to buy quality boots and replace them within the timeframe of your tier (1,2, or 3 x years)?

2. Could you mention the boot model that you consider the best quality Combat Boots?
 
I am a fan of Lowa boots. I find that they fit my feet and have had no issues with them, in addition their sizing is consistent between models of boots. No matter what model I order I know that if I get a size 12 it will fit me.

I bought the Hanwag Alaska GTX, because they were on the approved list.

They've been excellent and got me up some big hills, like Kilimanjaro, and a couple of trips along the West Coast Trail.

Oh, and some Army stuff too ;)
