She said she's still standing in Abbotsford, but who knows how she'll do now.
The pundits are guessing we'll see an election call by Tuesday next week.
'The Right' will be scrambling to figure out who is running where, especaly the new 'Centre' folks. The NDP has a strong footprint in the more populous urban areas.
In any case, it will be a pretty interesting 'knife fight to the finish' one way or another

I suspect he’s trying to represent a political custom as a constitutional convention. I’m not aware of anything remotely close to a constitutional norm on this.

Probably more of a political norm, I guess. I can’t see someone dropping a writ with no opposition leader unless they were up against the absolute latest that an election had to be held. I am unaware of a premier or PM calling an election of choice when there is no opposition leader, but there’s nothing stopping them either.

As chaos continues for the B.C. Conservative Party, former leader John Rustad and MLA Scott McInnis have announced they are rejoining the caucus following the resignation of Kerry-Lynne Findlay.

British Columbia’s political parties are scrambling to ready themselves for an early election call expected by Premier David Eby Tuesday.
The Opposition BC Conservatives spent the day frantically trying to reunite their scattered party, following the resignation of leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay on Sunday.
The BC NDP government, meanwhile, went on a pre-election spending spree.
The Conservatives and offshoot party CentreBC held high-level talks to end their civil war and return the eight former Conservative MLAs back to the party. It did not produce results Monday.
However, five other exiled Conservatives — former leader John Rustad, former interim leader Trevor Halford, MLA Scott McInnis, MLA Linda Hepner and MLA Claire Rattée — did announce they’ve rejoined the party, as part of a movement dubbed “Conservatives Unite Against The NDP.”
“I say to David Eby: bring it on,” said Rustad. “Watch what a united party will do in the centre-right in this election. Because I believe people want change, and we can turf these guys to the curb.”
The Conservatives are preparing to launch their election campaign under interim leader Lorne Doerkson, a low-profile MLA from Cariboo-Chilcotin who was most recently assistant deputy speaker and never appeared to have his eye on the leadership. Nonetheless, he was chosen by the Conservative caucus to lead.
Doerkson will go up against Eby’s NDP government, which announced hundreds of millions of dollars in new spending Monday in a pre-election blitz.
Infrastructure Minister Bowinn Ma announced the “immediate” restoration of a Burnaby hospital project that had been paused in the February budget.
Health Minister Ravi Kahlon pumped more money Monday into a new six-story, 298-bed, long-term care home in Lantzville, with the help of local-area MLAs.
Kahlon reiterated Eby’s line that voters may need to go to the polls to give the government “stability” at a time of global unrest due to U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade war.
Attorney General Nikki Sharma unveiled plans for government to sue tech company OpenAI over its role in the Tumbler Ridge tragedy.
Those moves came on top of Eby’s promise to stall an expansion of the Provincial Sales Tax to professional services, as well as build new BC Ferries’ ships in B.C.
“We’ve been in the state of readiness for two years,” he said.
“We’ve had a very fragile one seat majority and that’s come with a lot of challenges to make decisions. But we’ve done our best.”

She’s in very serious disagreement with Eby plan to transfer control of the ALC and all unused ALR land to native control.
