10 dead now. From the videos coming out it looks like Cambodia is shelling residential areas with Grad rockets. This is up to 30km inside Thailand.

Two Thai villagers were killed and two others injured in a Cambodian rocket attack on a border development centre in Karb Choeng district of Surin this morning.

I wonder if it will remain isolated or if it will spill over to the surrounding regions. Looks like colonialism and its consequences once again rears its head in the developing world.

The clashes in the border region are one thing. The slow but steady and deadly purge of Marxist infiltration of the Thai government (by Cambodia with the sophisticated support of China) is likely a contributing factor. Airbases in Thailand that could be used again by the USAF are worrying to China.
Looks like some fighting has resumed between Thailand and Cambodia, with at least a couple deaths so far, and Thailand launching air strikes.
