Nah, we're just going to give everyone raises and consider the Coast Guard as defense spending.Or we could be a sensible army and, you know buy enough tanks to equip our Regiments properly

60% of the time, it works every time.Just depress the SPG guns and use them as direct fire. I did it in World of Tanks all the time.
Might as well use the C3s as AT guns then60% of the time, it works every time.
Well they’ll get to Latvia faster than Spike… probablyMight as well use the C3s as AT guns then
Interesting. For the C16 or M2?Has anyone seen the Aimpoint FCS in the hands of a Cdn soldier yet?
Apparently they are in Latvia and have been for about 2 years. No one I have seen or spoken with even knew they were in theatre.
I think those are supposed to be the optic for the C6A1 but I'd have to double check that to be sureHas anyone seen the Aimpoint FCS in the hands of a Cdn soldier yet?

I'll dive deeper next week, but found some documents indicating that the initial training was going to take place in Spring 2024 in Gagetown and then sent to Latvia. I found other correspondence from the DGLEPM Tech LO team from Jan/Feb 2025 indicating that it had arrived in theater recently.I’ll ask but haven’t seen one myself.
The US Army has been running the Aimpoint FCS on their 84mm since 2019 I believe. 3 RCRs experience with it during an industry demo where Saab and Aimpoint brought the M4 and the FCS was eye opening. The capability was outstanding. That was about 6-7 years ago now I think.
Try a lot longer than that.6 or 7 years ago. Glad to see we're not rushing the decision.
Try a lot longer than that.
I recall going to a trade show in 1993 and seeing an FCS attached to a Carl G, then…
Was that the CDC Canada solution? I seem to recall public rumours of the US Rangers, early US adopters of the CG84, playing with some Canadian built ballistic sights.
