Canada moves to 2% GDP end of FY25/26 - PMMC

Well that makes good sense. After all, they recently rewrote their history to remove all record of their many human rights abuses ...

Indonesian government set to erase human rights abuses from history books

An Indonesian history project has sparked worries among scholars and activists due to released drafts that downplay government atrocities such as kidnapping, killing and mass rape.

Let's be honest, the western world doesnt really give a crap about SE asia. Otherwise we would of had troops in Myanmar 20 years ago.

A pretty clear statement right here.

Both Germany and Poland would love to be getting safe, secure and reliable CDN LNG.

Touting ‘enormous’ LNG opportunities, Carney says Canada to unveil new port infrastructure investments within two weeks

Hmmmm. I see the plan is for the Port of Montreal to be a winner. Does he think that this will sway Quebec into cooperating on a pipeline they have refused so far?

Maybe by 'expansion' at the Port of Montreal he means 'expansion of its policing/security/inspection abilities' to crack down on the volume of stolen vehicles being shipped from the Port on a yearly basis.

This guy is hitting all the right check marks in my book. Here's hoping he has his cabinet and caucus in hand. They should be kissing his heinie every day for getting them out of the disaster that Justin had led them to the brink of.

Consider this project #1 that can be applied to the NATO 1.5%.

I think it’s a go, the LNG to Churchill.
Straight shot across 3 provinces that all want it to happen. The destination province is working diligently and smartly with the Ingenious players.
Hope I’m right.

The only LNG export investments, like a port, to date are in BC.

I assume his big surprise might (and I'm out of my depth here so am SWAGing) be an export oriented facility on the East Coast, serving Europe, which might be based on the two 'import' facilities currently operating in St John and Port of Hamilton.

To make that happen requires a new pipeline through Quebec, as well as across Ontario.
I believe that those need to happen but I’m not of the mindset that they get announced in 2 weeks.
