back on topic, the federal budget gives massive amounts to DND but I am highly worried we cant spend it, even with the new defense procurement agency. The red tape isnt designed to buy anything quickly

It's a beautiful plan! The Liberals look like they are doing something, the money goes back into general revenue to reduce the deficit and fund Liberal pet projects.

Will have a bit of a lead time, but just the infra side of some of these projects is absolutely staggering, and if we pull off even a part of it will be a generational reinvestment in bases that was probably last done in the 1960s for the Cold War or even WW2.

Things like completely replacement and expansion of all CFADs, dedicated submarine mini bases, northern FOLs on it's own with be mid 10 figures.

I’ll just point out that I did just say nobody seems to want to buy pictures of my feet. There are ways to spend the money before end fiscal. I have my feet right now and a decent camera upstairs.
