It's a beautiful plan! The Liberals look like they are doing something, the money goes back into general revenue to reduce the deficit and fund Liberal pet projects.

My hope springs eternal, but my add in yellow is my more cynical take - I'm happy to be wrong about another sausage machine to go through speeding things up, though.

Will have a bit of a lead time, but just the infra side of some of these projects is absolutely staggering, and if we pull off even a part of it will be a generational reinvestment in bases that was probably last done in the 1960s for the Cold War or even WW2.My hope springs eternal, but my add in yellow is my more cynical take - I'm happy to be wrong about another sausage machine to go through speeding things up, though.

Things like completely replacement and expansion of all CFADs, dedicated submarine mini bases, northern FOLs on it's own with be mid 10 figures.

I’ll just point out that I did just say nobody seems to want to buy pictures of my feet. There are ways to spend the money before end fiscal. I have my feet right now and a decent camera upstairs.

This is why I don't think even more money would help.
Things are moving at different speeds right now. Rumint says the new agency will have a delegation of $10B. If it's that high, pretty much everything except the largest projects (ships, fighters, etc) will move over. They will supposedly replace TBS for approval. That should speed up things. But until this agency is up and running and gets its delegations nothing substantial will have changed.
But also, they've done a priority list. Some projects made the cut to move to the agency. Some didn't. So the lucky first wave will get accelerated. Everybody else will still be dealing with TBS for a while.

From what I've seen, they have been bringing in Class A types, we just had a bunch during the APEC summit
It's the CAF. Our space facilities are guarded by Commissionaires adequately supplied with timbits.
We're in the process of ramping CAF Space. And to the maximum extent possible we use existing CAF bases. The some that might end up outside will use normal RCAF Force Protection.
