Canada/US Border Integrity Thread

Anyone know the last time NORAD and our min commitments/requirements in terms of providing X or Y resources/equipment was updated/reviewed?
What are the chances of The Donald saying, times have changed, if you want NORAD to continue then you need X amount of fighters available for defence, Y amount of long range patrol planes, Z amount of refueling planes and so on and so on.
And that is how we are ‘forced’ to increase our capabilities.
If we don’t, then no more NORAD.

This can be potentially very bad for us. If it comes out that the Officer was killed by someone transporting illegal migrants who had crossed into the US, Trump will definitely use this against us as another sign of the lack of enforcement on the US-Canada border.

My first thought after reading this account - terrorists.

Possible.
German newspapers don’t list a name as well.
Could be that the Germans are trying to establish if the individual is legit.
As for the woman carrying a Washington state drivers license, reading that shes
Been shot, is in hospital and is said to be a US citizen.
The car involved was a Prius from the pics.

Chances are zero. If the US says no more NORAD, then they lose our feed of surveillance in their system and the next line of defense for them is on their Northern border, which gives them a lot less time to react to anything. They can't accept such a short notice.
