I’m no expert either but I would really hope so too. But I have no clue how that stuff works, the specific issue, or how much of a challenge it would be to fix.

I’ll be damned! I completely missed that the regulations were proclaimed in late June, and that yes, it all comes into force on August 4th. Mea culpa, that’s embarassing. I’m surprised how little attention it got in my usual info circles.

Damn. I assumed ill intent and couldn't have been more wrong about the date. I expected another 2 years before it was enforced. Nice to be wrong here.
