Do the numbers for the Full Spectrum version seem low? I'm wondering if there'll be enough for the reserve infantry units to get that version?

Full spectrum is only for the infantry. It includes a longer barrel compared to the GS, different optics and a surpressor, with an optional TWS.

Note the announcement also covers new ammunition. Which is a new ball round, which will give the GS an effective range of 300m (with a barrel even shorter then a C8) and the FS will have a 400m effective range for individual fire.

I asked someone close to the project whos been in industry, answer i got was a lecture as to why piston driven isnt the correct term and even industry people mis use it. It sounds like it might be DI but I am not 100%
