I plan on joining the reserves and I need a little clarification on what exactly I have to bring to the recruiting office.


I have 2 references (One from a Professor and one from a friend)

HighSchool/College Transcripts

SIN (I have the number but I can't find my card; is that a problem?)

Birth Cert

Drivers Licence

Am I missing anything?

Go to the Employment Insurance office and apply for a new SIN card (10.00) and they will issue you a receipt with the number on it. That is what is needed in your application until you receive the new card.  Best bet is to visit the reserve unit and get an application package first and there should be a checklist in it detailing what they want to see so it can be properly prepared for forwarding to the CFRC/D.
