Hi I have a question, more of an inquiry.

I have been going through my very large comic collection, (I know I am a geek, my wife reminds me every day) and thought about sending
some of my duplicates and ones I don't read anymore to Afghanistan.
I am not sure if I should if the MFRC takes them or not, any suggestions?

My friend Gareth Gaudin owns a comic shop here in Victoria and is sending some of his own work that he does over for the troops,
he is the one who kind of inspired me to do this, like I said earlier I have a pretty large collection and will be sending probably a couple hundred comics and magazines.

Cheers

Give them a call. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

The closest one to you is in Esquimalt.

Hope that helps.

My domestic niner started a campaign in conjunction with a local radio station to have people drop off two of their unwanted dvd movies at various drop off points for the troops. They were then collected by a rep from the legion and sent to the quartermaster of the gun battery currently deployed in Afghanistan. From there the QM will spread the wealth. The only caveat being, that you need the name of the quartermaster currently in Afghanistan.

;D
I have boxed up about 300 comics and will be taking them to the MFRC Friday, just hope they get to the troops.

Cheers

I'm in Victoria, where is your friend's comic store in the event that I might want to send some business his way?
