"A guerilla is a fish and the people are his sea"

One must study irregular warfare in order to understand it.

On the other hand that is precisely the battleground their, and our, enemies will choose to engage them. Precisely because they don't succeed there.

They have to figure out how to win on their enemies' terms.

They have to figure out how to win at soccer, rugby and cricket. They can't keep making up their own games and declaring themselves World Champions.
