Im not so sure. The Nordic countries use them in spades to this day and so do the Americans. Especially since its unarmed and unarmoured, Im not sure theres much tech to add.

The BvS210 is lightly armoured and there are many variants that have been designed, some in use such as mortars, EW, air defence, CP, recovery.

My concern is Canada buys into the BvS210 NOW, we get it in 3-8 years and by that point, way behind the curve. We have a defence procurement agency now that was supposed to solve issues like this.
