Eligibilty for deployment

At this point in time I am an SQ trained private looking to try and get on the 2007 deployment for infantry in the LFWA, I was told that a requirement for being eligble for this deployment is completeing the live fire section attacks at EX: cougar salvo this year. My only problem is i dont know whther or not I will be able to do live fire secrtion atacks on EX: Cougar Salvo this march as i will not have my BIQ by then, However I will have succesfully passed my C7 PWT 3 by the time EX: Cougar Salvo rolls around. So my question is Will I be able to do live fire section attacks at EX: cougar salvo in March 2006 being SQ qualified and having completed my C7 PWT3?

The answer is no.

As a BMQ & SQ qualified Infantryman you may;

"Participate in dry training only, as a Rfmn in a section, a C9 gunner in a section, a C6 gunner in the light role in the wpns det, an 84 mm gun crewmember in the wpns det and basic fieldcraft.  Personnel may fire these weapons on a conventional range."
