Embed Reporters Now Need Dog Tags, First Aid Training

I D disks for the media with the normal stuff include , blood type and stuff would be good incase of  an injury is a good idea, first aid training should be given to everyone over there,  never know what  might happen

as for people thinking their family, loved ones or friends will go over there and not get hurt is ishful thinking but i think everyone has to think that  way or they  will always be fearing news stories or reports of anything over there.

always hoping it is the the other guy  or some one you do not know is natural.

I'm shocked to read that only now this is considerd. I work part time selling safety shoes to people. Groceries need their cashiers to wear safety footwear (cause you never know with those large watermelons). And even at my store there always needs to be one person present that knows First Aid, and our boss strongly recommends that everyone does it (not just to make scheduling easier, but safety concerns).

Goes to show your employer is thinking more than (subject to any evidence to the contrary) some media management.

The media have always believed they have a form of invulnerability and safety due to their presentation of themselves as 'neutral unbiased third parties'.  Perhaps they have come to believe that these kinds of things never happen to them, or cannot happen to them? (Despite worldwide evidence to the contrary).
