How does the field engineer's uniform look like?

The same as everyone elses. Nothing special.

It's called a UNIform for a reason. Everyone wears the same uniform, no matter which MOC.

Do engineers have any special dress uniform like some of the infantry get the slick redcoat uniforms with the pith helmets?

the redcoats and bearskin hats are for the ceremonial guard, and that's just for show. Anyone from the combat arms can do CG. The Governor Generals Foot Guards reserve regiment in ottawa usually supplies most of the troops for CG each summer.

But with a Little bit more class.

The same as everyone else's.

Except for the engineer buttons, collar dogs, and shoulder titles.
NCMs from Pte to Sgt will also have their QL badge.

These are all small things and vary between all branches and regiments.
