Firearms Carried by Medical Technicians

Hi all, just curious about weaponry for Med Techs. Specifically what does a med tech use for a side arm?
(Pistol, Rifle....) I understand the common rifle  in CF is the C7 but what about the pistol? is CF still using the Browning 9mm or hase it changed? Also, during peacetime on a peace keeping mission or say on a Canadian Forces Base on Canadian soil is the Medtech still required to carry his/her sidearm?

The easy answer is that you carry what you are issued. On operational taskings you will certanly have a C-7, I also had my 9mm browning. On base...there is no requirement to have a weapon on Canadian soil. On ex, see line one.

They carry the issued side arm.

When in a pinch they revert to the PPC....

When in doubt they release the land shark with attached laser.          ;D

Unfortunatly the land shark is in such high demand that we will never see them in the support trades.
