Good day everyone, just wondering if anyone has any insight into HRA training in borden?

1) What the days look like.

2) Course material.

3) Potential BTL sitting on ass wait times for course starts etc.

Some greneral context im thinking of VOTing.

Also any insight on if your on tcat and if you can vot or cot? And can you do either if your tcat is as simple as mine.

My tcat is just for "PT at own pace" due to a herniated disc from a SQ course last year I'm still fully operational just don't partake is psp lead nonsensical workouts I do my own PT as I know what I'm capable of lol

HRA RQ Pte is currently 57 training days. During that time you will learn a few useful things, such as:

  • How to process incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • How to maintain a personnel file
  • How to process disciplinary action documentation
  • How to process military leave
  • How to process military pay (Regular and Reserve Force)
  • How to administer member readiness.
Good job for motivated people who want to keep administration moving at a unit and both members and the chain of command happy.

If be very happy doing all of that honestly it says it's 90 days training on the caf website though, can you confirm the 57 training days? Also where I'm airforce right now I'm assuming I'd be posted to a airforce unit after RQ?

I can only confirm the 57 training days as that is what the authorized Training Plan says.

HRAs are "purple". You could be an Air Force uniformed HRA posted to a ship or in an infantry unit. Wherever the needs of the service are.

And there's 0 promise that you'll keep your RCAF DEU. If they need Army or RCN HRAs more, thats what you're getting.
