My husband is Rejoining the military and I was on the site looking at the job he is going into to. I began to read the information and thought wow there are so many positions in the Military. I really like MP so here is my question.

If both parents are in the military and they don't have Parents, Aunts or any family members to watch the kids, does the military help somehow with lengthy Child care?
or
Does the Military work to keep one parent at home while the other is deployed, help them to take turns somehow?

I would really like to look into becoming an MP if that is possible.

Thank you for your answers in advance.

The simple answer to all your questions is: No.

With no sugar coating:

The military does not run Day Cares or any long term Child Care for its members.  The members must find suitable Child Care for themselves.

Like any other profession, the military pays wages to its' members, from which they will have to budget their own household needs, to include Child Care.

The military will post its' members where it needs them, when it needs them.  That is its' business to do so.  Expect that.

Thank you very much, no sugar coating nessary.  ;)

My husband says that there is to much going on to be a civy, He needs return so I will step back and let him.
Hopefully I will at least make a good Military Wife. :salute:

I wasn't with him the first time he was in.

Maybe you could try the reserve...
until he is tired of the reg ;)!
