Tesla has likley the most efficient manufacturing of any carmaker in the world, yet they cannot sell a car in North America as cheaply as the Chinese. I seen a lot of stuff on Chinese complaining about how poorly constructed many of them are. The Chinese are big on features, not on long term reliability.

That is a lot of money to kiss off. What factories do we have in Canada that are geared to EVs? With Trump already on the warpath their future is looking pretty bleak and I don't think Ford's will be the last bad news for the EV industry
