None of them are geared towards Ford. Finally, a replacement for the Edsel. /
That is a lot of money to kiss off. What factories do we have in Canada that are geared to EVs? With Trump already on the warpath their future is looking pretty bleak and I don't think Ford's will be the last bad news for the EV industry
I said years ago that EVs are not well suited to a Prairie winter - it seems those "experts" are lacking in expertise and the gullible politicians who fell for it are the problem.
Well well well...
I think most people have realized that the promised land of cheap EVs that can replace IC cars was a lie. Finally, a replacement for the Edsel. /

EVs will continue to get better over time, and they'll still exist because there is a market for them, but for most North Americans a hybrid or PHEV is far more practical.
EVs shine in the suburbs as a second car in the family. You keep the bigger SUV/Truck for longer trips, and commute with the EV. For people in apartments EVs are difficult to use because overnight charging isn't really an option for most renters.
PHEVs and Hybrids combine the best of both worlds, and allow for easy long distance trips, as well as the reduced commuting cost of an EV, particularly a PHEV.

That Mustang that is cross dressing as a Tesla?Kinda hits like a bolt of......lightning.
Oh and lets hope that ridiculous looking "Mustang" gets kyboshed too. Mustangs need a proper V8.
