IM wondering what guns their are

i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the infantry must use riffles. I no they can use snipers heavey machiene guns etc. but is there a light machiene gun that you can use like in ww2 they used th thompson gun. is there a gun like that today and if so can you if its possible send a picture of it. thanks  :fifty:
