SeptemberI would think 2 Div and 1 Div (aka 3 Div) respectively. Which begs the question about when all those transfers of name and MOOs/CFOOs etc are taking place.

It appears that the 5th Canadian Division has already been stood down. There wasn't any information about what was happening to it's units considering that the realignment isn't happening till later this year. Are they going to be pushed into 2 Div now or are they just floating in space till everyone else moves?

That was the ceremonial stand down. Actual TOCA isn't until the 9th Sept. Most of the senior staff are/have moved on this month. There will be a "rear party" team that is keeping the lights on with all HQ pers either being posted, finding new jobs, or laid off/contract not renewed between now and then. Many of the perm B reservists have been offered posns in the to be formed Atlantic Battle School. Temp B were asked to seek employment elsewhere and the civilians were offered posns in the battle school or were laid off (as per collective agreements and WFA). Reg force are either posted, or staying for one year to be posted next APS IOT shut everything down post Sept 9th. 5th Cdn Div TC has already moved to CADTC, 3 Int is now under 36 CBG. Remainder of units as stated above move on the 9th.

Are the Atlantic Battle School people physically moving to Aldershot ? What is happening to your floor in D201 ?

The locations of elms (at least as of last week) are:
Battle School HQ - D201 4th Floor. Along with 2 Div pers, Sustainment Div pers, HS, PA, Int, lay back org (for the next year), and apparently a small slice of Navy pers.
A Coy (36 CBG) - 2x Class B Pl: Sydney and Halifax, 2x Class A Pl: Aldershot and Charlottown
B Coy (37 CBG) - 2x Class B Pl: Fredericton and St John's, 2x Class A Pl: St John and St John's

I believe 6 CCSB will be transferred to the Support Div and 36/37 CBG will be transferred to 2 Div on or about 10 September when TOCA takes effect.

To exercise logistics, we should fly the entire 1 Can Div to Edmonton for the stand up parade. I look forward to the hilarity, TD money and beers to be had...

Ruck march it is then.
Google tells me that it's 716 hours (3196 km) to march from the gate in Petawawa to the Div HQ in Edmonton. At 12 hours per day, six days a week, that's 10 weeks.
So you should have been on the road this morning if the parade is on September 10th. You've already missed your first timing.

When vehicles were destroyed in Afghanistan sometimes the laws of physics were violated, based on the copious volumes of equipment apparently contained therein that was written off.

The Div TCs all rebranded as regional Army Training Centres and transfer under a caretaker HQ on 1 April. Then, last month, the Army Training Centre (a peer formation to CTC) stood-up as the higher HQ for those regional training centres. So, CADTC has reorganized.

Strangely enough apparently almost every piece of canvas tarp or tentage that couldn't be physically accounted for. Some of which dated to the Crimean war but was still carried on the books of what is currently the British Army's Royal Logistics Corps.
Some ended up on the merchant vessel Atlantic Conveyor that was lost during the Falkland's war.
