MacKenzie Eaglen, a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, said that before Operation Epic Fury began late last month, the Navy probably had between 4,000 and 4,500 Tomahawk missiles on hand. Others naval analysts have said the number could be much lower, perhaps closer to 3,000, following their extensive use in recent operations, including the Trump administration’s strikes last year in Iran, Yemen and Nigeria.

Royal United Services Institute has published an excellent analysis on the munitions use thus far, and the implications both for the current conflict, and for other fights the U.S. or allies may have to either deter or enter into. Very insightful read into some of the procurement and supply chain challenges.

BLUF: some key munitions may run out very, very soon. Replenishing weeks of consumption could take years, and this already has a ‘right now’ impact on other lines of effort like helping Ukraine and deterring China.

How’s it go? “Amateurs talk tactics, professionals talk logistics.” Isn’t the rumour that Trump lives to see videos of shit blowing up?

A bit long.... interesting though:

The guy doing the interview is a former US Navy Seal and the guy he’s interviewing is a former US Ranger (as well as the first Trump Cabinet member to resign).
I think they’ve got a pretty good understanding of tactics, strategy and objectives.

Related? Not even sure if this is confirmed. But if so, then hybrid warfare is really taking a leap forward.
Swarming confirmed, anyway …
