There were also major differences in stories about an attack by Hamas on Oct 1 2024 which killed seven Israeli civilians in Jaffa.
The English version reported how the civilians were killed on a train and railway platform, but the Arabic version presented the attack as a military operation with no mention of the civilian victims.

Seven people have been killed in a shooting and knife attack in Tel Aviv, police in Israel have confirmed.
Several others were injured - some seriously - when a gunman opened fire at members of the public in the Jaffa area.
The deadly attack began in a rail carriage and continued on the platform, local police said in a statement.

BBC Arabic:
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for the "Jaffa" operation, which resulted in the death of seven Israelis and the injury of 16 others.
The brigades said in a statement that two of its members were able to "infiltrate" into Israel, and "stabbed a soldier and seized his automatic weapon, then carried out the operation in two different locations in the heart of Tel Aviv, one of them inside a train station."
Apparently assaulting a train full of civilians qualifies as a military operation.
